CRITERION ICES WINS TRIPLE GOLD

Criterion Ices has won three one-star Gold Awards in the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards 2007 for its Belgian Chocolate and Stem Ginger fresh cream dairy ices and Blackberry Yodel yogurt ice.

The national awards are recognised as a benchmark for fine food in the UK and the award-winning products are announced only after a rigorous judging process spanning a two-month period.

“It is a great privilege to win the respect of the Guild of Fine Foods and we are especially pleased to receive these three Gold Awards in recognition of our ices,” says Jim Valenti, sales manager for Criterion Ices. “We take every care to produce exclusive ices that are a real treat and it’s good to have independent food experts acknowledge our quality and integrity.”

SEE-AT-A-GLANCE GUIDE TO THE WINNING ICES

The Belgian Chocolate ice cream has a deep velvet texture and a rich flavour imparted by the 100% real dark cocoa liquor.

The Stem Ginger is bold and fiery with Chinese stem ginger pieces tumbled into a smooth, rich dairy ice lightly laced with ginger.

The Blackberry Yodel is refreshing and fruity. Sugar and cream are added to enhance the fruit while the tongue tingling tang of the yogurt comes through clearly.
